Tortoises

Tortoises are a very popular group of reptiles, this popularity seems to be growing year on year. The most popular Tortoises we keep are a grazing animal often enjoying to wander for miles in search of a meal. Housing securely outside in the warmer months for Mediterranean and African species is considered must as it gives them access to natural UVB and the space to graze and roam. There are other species from more tropical humid climates such as Red Footed Tortoises which roam the forest floor eating fallen fruits and vegetation but also enjoying invertebrates and carrion if it can find it.
