Bulbs

Bulbs are something we are used to hearing about in the garden but there are also aquatic species which grow from a bulb. Some tropical lily species start life in one of these bulbs and make an incredible focal point in a planted tank. Bulbs often die back when first put in the tank and regrow. This is the plants coping mechanism to new water conditions.
